We are currently finalising our protocol, but the study involves a few stages:

1. We would like to interview women GPs who are retiring or reducing their practice by at least 50%. This includes GPs who have moved away from generalist practice, and are working in other settings (eg urgent care, skin cancer medicine)

2. Interviews will last 60-90 minutes and will be conducted face to face or online with your preferred interviewer

3. At the end of the interview, you will have the option to add your interview, with or without edits, to our oral history collection. You will have the opportunity to discuss how your interview will be used, and to edit it with the help of the researchers.

4. The researchers will be analysing the research using narrative methods and will be publishing the outcomes in academic journals and disseminating the work to others interested in the outcomes.
